Shelby Willis

Shelby Willis works as the Assistant Director of Operations at Nashville Sports Leagues and will be transitioning to Director of Operations at the end of the year.She was born and raised in Goodlettsvile, TN. She was a multi sport varsity athlete in high school and decided to take a break from team sports in college. She majored in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Her passion for sports has been there since she was a little kid and was ecstatic to find a career path to continue that love of sports. Her daily work operations are to review game notes from the previous night’s leagues, check free agent health status, provide customer service to current and potential players through email and chat, check voicemails, ensure all paperwork is properly assembled and complete for the next days leagues, task review and release schedules, communicate between teams requests and the maintenance  crew, correlate with marketing about team and free agent needs, and anything and everything that may arise in between. She is not entirely sure where her future may lead me, but she could definitely see herself being an Athletic Director of a high school one day.
